Dóra Bizják and Károly Zentai, pianists

They graduated at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Budapest as pupils of Edit Hambalkó, András Kemenes and Attila Némethy in 1996. They were introduced to the literature of two-pianos-four-hands under the guidance of Marta Gulyas. As soloists they often performed with other Chamber partners. They achieved ranks at several competitions and worked together with significant conductors (e.g. Mátyás Antal, Tamás Gál, György Győriványi Ráth, Zsolt Hamar, Gábor Hollerung, Imre Kollár, László Kovács, Glenn Block, Julian Dawson, Kenneth Kiesler). In 1995 they recorded the "Carnival of the Animals" by Saint-Saëns with the Hungarian Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra.

They began their studies at the Illinois State University (USA) where they received their master's degree in 1999. They received the scholarships of the Soros Foundation (1997), the Schubert Society of Illinois (1998) and the Hans Fuchs Foundation in New York (1999).

In April 2000 they won the First Prize and Special Award on the 2nd International „Silvio Omizzolo” Piano Duo Competition. Their first solo album was released at Velut Luna in Italy in autumn 2001 with the title of Four hands dancin’. Now they work as piano accompaniments and tutor in Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music and at National Philharmonic Choir and they regularly play on the music series of the Hungarian Radio.

Besides Hungary they gave several concerts in Austria, Germany, Spain, Italy and USA. They gave concerts with symphony orchestra of Illinois State University and Ernő Dohnányi Symphony Orchestra in Budafok.

In Spring 2006 they won the award of the 1st Budapest Fringe Festival, which meant an invitation to the Budapest Spring Festival in 2007.
