André Vásáry

André Vásáry has a voice specie and repertoire, which is considered a worldwide rarity. In spite of his young age he achieved significant success in the Hungarian cultural life.

He had memorable performances in the most prestigious venues of the Hungarian musical life, such as the Palace of Arts, the Budapest Congress Centre, the Szeged Open-Air Games, the Rózsavölgyi Salon and the Zsolnay Quarter in Pécs.In 2011 he was nominated for the Fonogram Hungarian Musical Award, where the achieved three gold and one platinum records show the recognition of the public. He has been playing at the Pesti Theatre and Hungarian National Theatre for three years.

The church concert lovers could admire his not ordinary musical performance in the nation's largest churches, such as the Esztergom Basilica, the Great Church of Debrecen and the Great Reformed Church of Cegléd.
André had several performances in Paris, Vienna, Rome and other cities of Europe and participated also in the Adoro Tour in Germany. The world-widely acknowledged conductor, Maestro Ricardo Muti has listened to him, and he was invited to Vienna Stattsoper. In December 2012 he gave an independent concert in the Hungarian Opera of Kolozsvár.
